LAUNCH A CAREER IN PHOTOGRAPHY
Photographers capture the true essence of their subjects and show the world from many different perspectives. A Winnipeg gem, PrairieView School of Photography, is a place for aspiring photographers, who want to explore new techniques, learn the ins and outs of their cameras, or study in their accredited full-time diploma program.
Owner, Craig Koshyk, created PV with a vision in mind of educating and developing students to achieve higher expert levels of photography with their own personal flare! Craig, a veteran photographer in his own right, explains there are endless options of different photography styles needed around the world, such as: landscape, videography, travel, maternity, wedding, portrait, boudoir, film, fashion, etc. “There is something for everyone here at PV,” said Craig. PV has been in business for the past 16 years, located in the historical Exchange District. They see over 500 new students come through their doors each year.
PV is an accredited school through the Manitoba government. They place a strong emphasis on a high quality photography education. PV pride’s themselves on training some of Manitoba’s most successful photographers, and other international successes like Samanta Katz, Winnipeg local photography star and world-renowned Aaron Elkaim who’s shot for Time Magazine, New York Times and The New Yorker.
